RESIDENTIAL
HEALTH SERVICES are under the direction of a Registered Nurse
who supervises a trained team of personal care attendants, on duty
24 hours, to monitor residents’ health and assist with
medication administration. Personal Care Attendants assist with
bathing, bed making, and individual needs. Our wellness clinic is
available for physicians visits. Home Health Care can, also, be
received, if prescribed by a doctor.
PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANTS provided around-the-clock,
maintain the independence of our residents. Besides administering
considerate and gentle care, the attendants cue and prompt
residents throughout each day. They get to know each resident and
promote activities and functional independence. The Personal Care
staff reports any changes that may signal a healthcare situation.
Should the need arise, the Personal Care Attendant will provide
services… above and beyond.
SOCIAL WORK is available through our Director of Resident
Services and provides counseling, support groups, encouragement,
advocacy, and liaison service for our residents and their
families. A social worker is available Monday through Friday and
occasional Sundays.
RELIGIOUS services are provided by the Director of
Religious Activities. The Rabbi conducts daily shabbat and holiday
religious services, offers classes in Judaism, and provides
religious counseling and support to residents and their families.
In addition, oversight is provided in our kosher kitchen

cultural, educational, and recreational events for residents to

areas with connected conservatory and demonstration cooking and
baking kitchens. Residents may choose from a variety of
stimulating and qualities activities, and special programs
including: Group Exercise, Art, Gardening, Walking Club, Yiddish

Card Club and Bingo to name a few. Shabbat is welcomed in every
week with singing and social dancing at our Frailach Shabbat
celebration.
Trips are scheduled to cultural events and for personal shopping.
Each day, residents receive a Blumberg Blurb, informing them
of scheduled activities and field trips offered for them. The

in-house programs and a large screen television. Stylishly
appointed, multipurpose rooms are available for group functions
and celebrations.
