The Auxiliary for Jewish Home & Aging Services mission is to provide services and programs for the residents of Fleischman Residence/Blumberg Plaza and those we serve in the Detroit Metropolitan community. Over 1000 dedicated members support a variety of programs and services to enrich the lives of the elderly. It is the goal of the Auxiliary for Jewish Home & Aging Services to increase public awareness and advocate for frail Jewish older adults.

What is distance limited programming?
In short, it benefits all of the residents of Fleischman Residence, especially those who rarely leave the building because of physical and/or mental impairments. It brings entertainment, cultural, social & educational experiences that they would not otherwise receive.
